Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies pass.eu.com uses, including the PASS University, PASS Hub and PASS Brazil Summit pages, and how you can change your choice. How we use personal data in general is explained in our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local and session storage and tracking pixels, work in a similar way. We call them all "cookies" here.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks which optional cookies you allow. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you choose, and "Reject all" is as easy as "Accept all". You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings, also linked at the bottom of every page. We ask again when we change the categories.
We use Google consent mode: Google's tags are told what you allowed and do not set analytics or advertising cookies without your consent.
3. Strictly necessary
Always on, because the website needs them to work. They are not used to track you.
- Your cookie choice (pass-cookie-consent, browser local storage): remembers what you allowed, until you change it or clear your browser data.
- Payment form (browser session storage, on the PASS University payment page): keeps the details you entered so the form can be restored if you cancel the payment; cleared when payment succeeds or you close the tab.
- Security and spam protection: our hosting provider (Vercel) and our forms use short-lived technical data, such as a hashed IP address, to block abuse.
- Stripe Checkout: the payment page hosted by Stripe sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Cookieless analytics
Always on. Vercel Analytics counts page views and measures site performance without cookies and without identifying you across websites.
5. Analytics (only with your consent)
Loaded through Google Tag Manager after you allow "Analytics":
- Google Analytics (Google): visits, popular pages and how visitors use the site. Cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used; Clarity masks sensitive content such as form inputs. Cookies such as _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day).
6. Marketing (only with your consent)
Loaded through Google Tag Manager after you allow "Marketing":
- Meta Pixel (Meta): measures our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Cookies such as _fbp, kept for up to 3 months.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn): measures our campaigns on LinkedIn. Cookies such as li_sugr, bcookie and lidc, kept for up to 1 year.
These providers may combine this data with what they already know about you, under their own privacy policies.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website, such as payments, from working.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We update this policy when we add or remove tools. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version.
